Thanksgiving in Iowa

I did something new for Thanksgiving. Normally I stay in Texas and spend it with friends. But this year my Uncle Dean decided to be in Iowa for the holiday--well, he and his buddies decided to go to a Packers game that happened to fall around the holiday, so we got to see him too. :-) It was the first time in seventeen years that the Sass(mom's side) side of the family has been together for an official holiday. It was awesome! We laughed, we cried(literally), played a two-hour Junior Trivial Pursuit game, and just generally enjoyed spending time together.

Going to Iowa also means spending time with some of the Waterman side of the family. Also a good time! We didn't see them as much on this trip, but I'm sure Christmas will bring games, laughs, and a trip to see The Chronicles of Narnia.
