Virginia

In Virginia we stayed in a condo at a four seasons resort. They were definitely a family-friendly resort with lots of activities for people. We didn't utilize any of them and spent a lot of time driving around the area. We went to wineries, we went antiquing in cute little towns like Strassburg. We spent a day at Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson. THAT was absolutely amazing. The views throughout were amazing. We truly learned where the line, "purple majesties" came from while looking around this amazing part of the country.

We really just "chilled" in Virginia. One day we didn't leave the condo till 3 pm. At first I felt guilty. I thought, "we should be out there seeing everything there is to see." And Jason patiently said, "when was the last time we got to just chill out and not do anything." Well, I'd have to say it was the two days after our wedding in Fredricksburg. So I got over it and just enjoyed relaxing. These pictures are just a small sampling of the amazing views we had as we drove around.
